the development, manufacture and supply of intruder alarm technology.
Wireless
The 500 series (see right illustration) is an 9 zone wirefree alarm
system which can protect up to 8 potentially vulnerable areas of
a building. The ninth zone if required can be programmed to be operated
via personal attack devices. The 500 series eliminates the need
for wiring between detection devices, therefore causing a minimum
of disruption to your decor. 16 million different system codes reduce
radio interference and false alarms. Exceptionally easy to operate,
either from the onboard keypad or remote control, you can set the
whole premises or part of the premises to suit your requirements.
Available with external sounder/strobe or with a Vocaliser automatic
telephone dialler.
Wired
The 9449 has been designed to comply with the ACPO (Association
of Chief of Police Officers) intruder alarm policy and NACOSS code
of practice NACP14. The 9449 control panel is an 8 zone alarm system
which can protect up to 8 potentially vulnerable areas of a building.
An ideal choice for domestic and small commercial installations.
Exceptionally easy to operate using the illuminated keypad you can
set the whole premises, ground floor only or any other area that
suits your particular requirements.
Detection
Devices
A choice of detection devices is available. Magnetic door and window
contacts. Passive infrared movement detectors (P.I.R). Combined
Microwave/P.I.R. for draughty/difficult areas prone to false alarms.
Pet Smart movement detectors which ignore pets but activate if humans
are detected. Shock sensors which detect the actions of an intruder
attempting to gain entry.
Alerting/Signalling
Devices
All systems include a external siren/strobe device often called
a bell-box. Additionally an internal sounder is available. A further
option is an automated telephone dialler called a Vocaliser. This
device will dial up to four telephone numbers and deliver a pre-recorded
message when an alarm activation takes place.
